MARIE CURIE ACTIONS WORKSHOP

18 April 2012
Richard Mortensen stuen, Aarhus University

To senior researchers:
Do you wish to strengthen your research group or department by attracting international talent?
Do you want to build partnerships on training networks for PhD students and post doctoral researchers with other universities in and outside Europe?
Do you wish to achieve new research or organizational skills at another European University for 1-2 years, and then reintegrate?
Do you wish to work in another sector in another European country for a period of 1-2 years, and then reintegrate?

To early career researchers:
Are you eager to gain international experience as a postdoctoral researcher at a leading university or
research institute abroad for 1-2 years, and then reintegrate?
Have you completed your PhD at a university outside Europe and do you wish to come to Aarhus University as a postdoctoral researcher?
Do you wish to meet a European Commission Official who knows everything about Marie Curie Actions?

Come to the Marie Curie Actions workshop in Richard Mortensen stuen, Aarhus University on 18 April 2012.

The workshop will be held the first day Aarhus University will host the Danish Presidency conference ‘Excellence revisited – The value of excellence’. The conference will discuss how to promote excellence in research, higher education and innovation. At the Marie Curie Actions workshop you will hear about the various Marie Curie Actions, and the application and selection process. As you may be curious on what is going to happen after EC’s current Framework Programme has been completed in 2013, the final session is devoted to a forward look at the future Marie Curie Actions under Horizon 2020. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to discuss your specific issues or questions on a one-to-one basis with a European Commission official (pre-registration necessary).

And the good thing is that, for those working at Aarhus University, professional preand post award support is available, guiding you through the application and reporting procedures.
Applying to the European Commission has become easy…
