New maps at au.dk

Along with the new design at au.dk, new maps are being launched based on Google Maps. On these maps, you can quickly and easily search for people, units and buildings connected with Aarhus University. There are two different types of maps.

AU in Denmark

Aarhus University is represented all over Denmark. This map provides a summary of where you can find the different campuses, units and other locations where Aarhus University has activities.

Building map

As opposed to the location map, the building map provides you with a complete overview. In addition to finding people, units and buildings, you can use the map as a route planner if you are travelling to or from Aarhus University. You can also find canteens, Friday night bars, libraries, student counsellors and the nearest bus stops.

Why can't I find...?

Information on the building map is based on data in Aarhus University’s unit directory, so if the contents here are incorrect, the information on the map will not match either. At present, it is not possible to display people and units connected with a number of buildings outside the main Campus Aarhus area (i.e. the area around the University Park, the Nobel Park and Katrinebjerg). This applies to the former Aarhus School of Business in Fuglesangs Allé, for example, and the Danish School of Education in Emdrup. If you find that the information is incorrect, or if you encounter any other problems or deficiencies in connection with the maps, you are welcome to send an e-mail to aukort@au.dk.
