Directors of Studies
The director of studies is responsible for the practical arrangement of the particular study programme according to the authority of the rector (including student counselling, teaching and examinations) within the framework of the curricula and the teaching syllabus. The director of studies allocates the teaching resources that are allotted by the faculty council in the form of grants or entitlement to teaching resources.
The director of studies is elected by the study committee for one year at a time from amongst the full-time employed members of the academic staff who are members of the committee. The dean approves the elected director of studies and his or her deputy.
