CHE - Excellence Ranking
The CHE Excellence Ranking, which evaluated on European universities, is published by the Centre for Higher Education Development, an independent German think tank for higher education. Rather than ranking universities numerically, the CHE ranking assigns the “Excellence” seal of quality to universities which excel in particular fields.
The 2010 CHE Excellence Ranking includes seven research areas: biology, chemistry, economics, physics, mathematics, political science and psychology. Aarhus University has been evaluated as “excellent” in the following fields:
- Biology
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Political Science
