QS World University Ranking
The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking is primarily based on the criterion of the reputation of universities among researchers and employers, in addition to citation frequency and internationalisation. The QS ranking is based on six indicators:
- External researchers' evaluations of a university's research: researcher survey
responses (40%) - Number of citations in scholarly journals (20%)
- Number of students per researcher: the fewer the better (20%)
- Employers' evaluations of graduates from the university: survey responses (10%)
- Proportion of international students (5%)
- Proportion of international researchers (5%)
