Internal Board member Peter Bugge
Peter Bugge (1960) became a member of the Board in February 2012.
He is associate professor of Czech and European studies at Aarhus University and a member of the Foreign Lectureship Committee under the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. In the period 2002-2006, Dr Bugge served as vice-dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Aarhus University, and he has also served as department head at both the Department of History and Area Studies and the Slavic Department.
His research interests include 19th and 20th century Czech and Slovak history, politics and culture as well as conceptions of Central and Eastern Europe, and he has over fifteen years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience.
