Internal Board member Susanne Bødker
Susanne Bødker (1956) became a member of the Board in February 2012.
She received her doctorate in 1999 from Aarhus University, where she also took her MSc. Dr Bødker has been a professor of human-computer interaction at the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University since 2001.
Her research interests include participatory design, computer-supported cooperative work and human-computer interaction. Her research is internationally recognised, and she has held numerous guest professorships abroad. In addition, she was awarded the ACM SIGDOC Rigo prize for extraordinary achievement in the field of computer technology.
Dr Bødker has served on many different research councils, most recently the European Science Foundation’s Standing Committees for Physical and Engineering Sciences and the Danish Council for Technology and Innovation.
