AC-TAP position: Imaging of RNA and RNA binding proteins at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University 982828

A technical academic personnel (AC-TAP) position in the field of RNA metabolism is available from 1st of August 2018 for a period of three years in the laboratory of professor Torben Heick Jensen at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University.

The chosen candidate will be the caretaker of the microscope facility in the Torben Heick Jensen laboratory, employing cell-biological techniques to study mechanisms underlying turnover of nuclear RNA in human cells.

We are looking for candidates with an experience with RNA-FISH and immunohistochemistry technologies. Moreover, the candidate should have a track record of collaboration with technicians, students and postdocs.

Applicants must hold a PhD-degree in molecular biology, and candidates with a prior knowledge in microscopic methods will be preferred.
