Admission to Aarhus University

GETTING STARTED

All applications for admission as an exchange student are made through AU's online application system. Paper applications are not accepted.

Before you get started, please make sure you have all the documents and information necessary to complete the application.

This guide on how to prepare your application will provide information on choosing a campus, choosing courses, and considering housing options.

Please read the guide carefully, as the application procedures vary slightly from campus to campus, and it is important that you select the instructions that relate to the campus you wish to apply for.

The application procedures also vary between the different programmes and academic areas, so you must first determine which area you will be applying to at Aarhus University. Once you decided this, you can move on to apply for admission

Please make sure to select the instructions that relate to the programme and academic area you wish to apply for.

Note: If you wish to apply for housing via AU Housing, please complete the housing section of the online application form.

We recommend that you use the Internet Explorer web browser to complete the online application as many applicants have experienced problems when using other web browsers such as Firefox or Safari.
