AU Intro Week
Introduction Programme for International Exchange Students
A mandatory introduction week is organised by the International Centre in cooperation with Studenterhus Aarhus, usually before or during the first weeks of each semester start.
The Intro Week is designed to give new international students an introduction to Aarhus University and to the city of Aarhus. The programme offers guidance on academic culture and living in Denmark together with city tours and social activities to allow students to get to know each other and their surroundings. Programme events in the past have included:
- Living in Denmark: An International Student Perspective
- What You Need to Know About Danes, Danish and Denmark
- Introduction to Clubs and Organisations
- Academic and Study Culture at AU
- Brunch and Museum Tour
- Much more!
Along with sessions hosted by the International Centre and events sponsored by the Studenterhus Aarhus, each faculty also has a day that introduces students to study groups, tutors, their department and more.
