Where to pay?
Find a bank in Aarhus.
It is your responsibility to pay your rent by the first of every month. This procedure can be done in any Danish bank. You will find detailed instructions in your contract.
A few things to be aware of:
- There is a fee if you don’t pay your rent on time
- Even if you don’t receive an invoice, it is your responsibility to pay the rent. In case of doubts, ask the International Centre.
First month rent & deposit
Student residences and shared-facilities houses
If you are living in a student residence or a shared-facilities house, the International Centre will pay the first month rent and the deposit on your behalf before your arrival. You will receive an invoice with payment details along with your keys and contract. You have to pay the invoice within 14 days after your arrival.
Sub-letting
Students granted with a room to sublet should pay the first month and deposit to the person who hold the rent as stipulated in the contract.
