Storcenter Nord is a 20 min walk away. It is a large shopping mall including a post office, Føtex for grocery shopping, and various other fashion and home décor stores. For last minute shopping later at night there is a corner store on Paludan Müllers Vej (turn right onto P.Müllers Vej from Hasle Ringvej).

This is a large student neighbourhood including the nearby Kollegiums at Skejby, Vilhelm Kiers and Herredsvej, so it will not be hard to meet other students who live in the same area. The university’s website is being redesigned. The design and content will therefore change, and you may experience for a while that old and new sections are mixed together, and that the content is not in its usual place.

We hope that the new website will make up for any inconvenience, and that you will enjoy greater coherence throughout and find the website simpler to use.

Why are we making a mess?

In the time ahead, you will notice a mixture of old and new designs in the pages on the website.

In spring 2011, Aarhus University’s nine main academic areas were reduced to four, and the fifty-five departments became twenty-six. This was to unify the organisation and to strengthen the university’s interdisciplinary approach. We are now following suit by restructuring the entire website to ensure more coherence in the content and design.

Such an exercise takes time – and we hope you will bear with us!
