Emergencies

In case of an emergency such as fire, a car accident or acute health problems call 112 to reach the emergency dispatch centre. Be prepared to answer the following questions:

  • What has happened?
  • Where are you calling from?
  • How many people are injured?
  • What phone number are you calling from?

Hospital

If you are injured and need immediate care in hospital you should go to the emergency room (skadestue) - see address below.

Always call first at 8731 5050 (only Aarhus) and tell them what is wrong. They will tell you what to do.

(If you live in Herning or Copenhagen, find the number and address in the column to the right.)
