Buddy Programme for Students at AU, Campus Herning
As an exchange student at AU Herning you will be assigned a buddy. The buddy is a student already studying at AU Herning, who has volunteered to help incoming exchange students coming to the campus. Your buddy will be able to answer most of your questions and introduce you to AU Herning, as well as the city of Herning itself.
The buddy is responsible for:
• contacting incoming exchange students via email before their arrival in Herning
• helping new exchange students to feel welcome and comfortable in Denmark and showing them around the Herning area
• helping exchange students contact local authorities – Statsforvaltningen Midtjylland (State County Midtjylland) for residence permits and Herning Kommune, Rådhuset for CPR numbers/medical cards. Exchange students will receive more detailed information about these formalities from AU Herning’s International Office.
• helping exchange students with practical things regarding AU Herning and extracurricular activities
