Technology Transfer Office
The Technology Transfer Office serves two main purposes which both relate to technology transfer. Technology transfer is the everyday term used to describe the activities that relate to university-industry interaction including research collaboration and transfer of technology through commercialisation.
The Technology Transfer Office serves as secretariat for the patent committee and functions as technology transfer office for Central Denmark Region including Aarhus University Hospital. Aarhus University is a founding member of University Technology Network. Se right sidebar for more information.
The tasks of the Technology Transfer Office are divided in two main areas. One area relates to research collaboration. The research collaboration can be between the University and private companies, universities or other organisations. It is the task of the Technology Transfer Office to ensure that satisfactory contracts are made which are concurrent with existing legislation and the University’s own guidelines for research collaboration.
