Bachelor's degree programmesThe University of Aarhus offers more than 60 different Bachelor-level programmes. A Bachelor's degree programme takes 3 years to complete and consists of either a single main subject or a main subject in combination with an elective. Elective studiesElectives are taken as part of a Bachelor's degree programme and are meant to add a new perspective to your main subject. Depending on the subject, electives can be taken as either a one-year supplementary subject or a two-year subsidiary subject, the latter of which will qualify you to teach at Danish high schools in both your main subject and your subsidiary subject. Master's degree programmesA Master's degree programme extends a Bachelor's degree programme and consists of either two years of continued studies in your main subject or of the second year of a subsidiary subject and a final year of studies in your main subject. |
