Rector's view on security
Aarhus University is a knowledge company. For this reason all who have their work at the University - both staff researchers, teachers and technical / administrative staff, as well as students – must have the greatest focus on information security.
If you think information security or IT security as it is often called, is "just something about viruses and hackers" then you should look at these pages - there are many more aspects. Work on information security is about ensuring the 3 basic concepts - accessibility, integrity and confidentiality of Aarhus University’s data and information.
Much of what is stated on these pages is ordinary common sense. Things "you know" in advance, but, as we experience daily, people tend to forget. You should make sure that you follow the guidelines described here.
