Technology Transfer Office (TTO)


The TTO is AU's contract unit. They can help you prepare the relevant agreements, including data processing agreements, disclosure agreements, transfers, and agreements regarding shared data responsibility. Furthermore, they can help you assess the role of AU as data protector in your research project, the valid legal basis, etc.

Remember to always contact TTO if you need to share personal data with external parties (i.e. natural or legal persons who are not part of AU).

The Research Data Office


AU's Research Data Office can help you with any questions you may have regarding the AU record in relation to research activities, enquiries from data subjects in research, personal data security breaches in research  and requests for permission under section 10 of the Data Protection Act. The officecan also help you contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)


AU's DPO can help you find out whether an impact assessment is necessary on the basis of your data protection risk assessment. The DPO also helps with guidance on the impact assessment, which you, the researcher, will carry out. Read more about the role of the DPO.
