Housing for exchange and mundus students
The International Centre has a housing department through which exchange students, executive MBA students and Erasmus Mundus students can apply for housing in Aarhus.
On the following pages under housing you will find information about the service we provide, the application process and the different types of accommodation offered. If you prefer to find housing on your own, you can also find information on the different options.
In the FAQ section, you can find information on many general questions, but should you need additional information you are always welcome to contact the housing team at housing@adm.au.dk
Housing Guarantee
As finding housing in Aarhus can be both difficult and time consuming, especially if you do not speak Danish and cannot arrive in Aarhus well before your studies start, Aarhus University guarantees to provide housing for all exchange and Mundus students who apply before the deadline.
The conditions of the housing guarantee are as follows:
- you must have been accepted as an exchange or Mundus student at AU
- you must submit your application before the specified deadlines
- you must accept the terms and conditions of the AU housing service for exchange and Mundus students
- you must accept the predetermined time period for housing offered on the housing application form
- you must be able to pay the first months' rent with a creditcard when you receive the housing offer
- you must apply for a single room (unfortunately we are not able to guarantee double rooms or apartments for two persons/couples)
If you meet these conditions, you can be sure that we will find you a place to live in Aarhus.
