Application process for staff

Application process for temporary accommodation in Aarhus through the International Centre (international staff)

Please follow these steps:

  1. Read the terms and conditions.
  2. Send the confirmation form to your contact person and ask him/her to fill it in and return it to the IC as soon as possible.
  3. Fill in and submit the Housing application form for international staff in Aarhus. We need your application form minimum two months before you wish your lease to start, but the sooner the better.
  4. You will receive an email from the housing office that we have received your application.
  5. If we are able to offer you a room, we will again send you an email with information about the offered accommodation. You must then confirm that you accept the offered lease as soon as possible (in most cases you will have about 7 days to reply).
  6. If you need to cancel your accommodation, you must contact housing@adm.au.dk immediately. If you cancel your accommodation more than 6 weeks before your leasing contract starts, we will cancel your contract without any cost. If there is less than six weeks to the start of your leasing contract, we will send you an invoice for 1-2 month’s rent depending on the specific leasing contract.
  7. After arrival, be sure to sign your leasing contract and hand it in to the IC. You also need to pay the invoice for the rent and deposit. You can find the payment due date on the invoice.
