Creating Self Service Account

In order to gain access to the online application form you must create an account in the Aarhus University self service system. This guide will take you through the process.

1: New User

  1. Go to the self service website.
  2. Click on the link New user access.

2: Choose Situation

  1. Click on I am an international student, researcher or lecturer without prior relations to the Danish Education system.

3: Create account

  1. Type in your date of birth (dd-mm-yyyy) and e-mail address.
  2. Click on the button Begin account creation.

4: Request account activation

  1. Type in your first name, last name, and select your gender.
  2. Click on Send activation link.

An activation link will now be emailed to your e-mail address. Click on the link and continue to 5: Activate account.

5: Activate account

  1. Choose a password. It must be at minimum 8 characters long, contain at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, and one number. It must not contain any special characters.
  2. Accept the terms and conditions by ticking the checkbox.
  3. Click on Save and activate user account to finish your registration.

Once you have created your self service account, you are ready to log into the self service. With your account you will have access to the link Application form for free movers (non-Exchange). This is the application form you must fill in in order to apply for admission to Aarhus University.

Please make sure to remember your password to the self service account as you will need this later on if your application is approved.
