Start application procedures for residence permit and insurances Application InstructionsIn order to gain access to the online application you must first create an account on the self service system. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure your application is filled out correctly. Please note that application procedures vary slightly from campus to campus so be sure to select the instructions that relate to the campus you will apply to.
Once you have been nominated by your home university, you can apply to study at Aarhus University by completing the online application. The application for Autumn 2010 will be available from February 1, 2010. You must sign up for a Self-service account before having access to the application for admission. You can do this by clicking 'New user' on the Self-service website. If you experience any problems connecting to your account, first consult the application instructions below and if you continue to experience problems then please contact the International Centre.
With regard to admission, please be aware that you should apply through your home university before those dates. Once you have been nominated, you have to fill out our online application before the indicated deadline.

Your transcript of records is a list of grades from courses you have completed at your home university. Please note that your application cannot be submitted until you have uploaded your transcript of records.
HousingExchange students can apply for housing through the same online application used for admission. The deadline for applying for housing is the same as for admission. Students applying to the Copenhagen and Herning campus' will not be required to complete a housing application. These students will be contacted by their relevant departments concerning housing placements. Processing your applicationWe do our best to process your application as fast as possible. However, due to the high-demand, it may take a few weeks. You can always check the status of your application by logging into the online Self-Service.
