Steps when applying for an exchange at Aarhus University

Once you have been nominated by your home university, you can apply to study at Aarhus University by completing the online application. The application for Autumn 2010 will be available from February 1, 2010.

With regard to admission, please be aware that you should apply through your home university before those dates. Once you have been nominated, you have to fill out our online application before the indicated deadline.

Documents to be attached with your online application:

• Official transcript of record from your home university (must be in pdf format)

Your transcript of records is a list of grades from courses you have completed at your home university. Please note that your application cannot be submitted until you have uploaded your transcript of records.  

Processing your application

We do our best to process your application as fast as possible. However, due to the high-demand, it may take a few weeks. You can always check the status of your application online. Once you have been accepted, the International Secretariat will send you the following:

• Letter of admission
• Student guide
• Documents needed to submit an application for a residence permit (for non-EU applicants)
• Map of the campus and the city
• Tourist information
