Funding schemes
Each scientific area administers a number of tuition fees and scholarships available for highly qualified non-EU/EEA students that do not visit Aarhus University on a balanced exchange partnership agreement. In some cases the student can obtain full scholarship and free tuition but often the university only offers free tuition. Students visiting on a balanced exchange partnership agreement do not pay tuition.
In addition to this International Centre administers a pool for strategic funding of tuition and scholarships where studies need to reach critical mass or other circumstances call for strategic measures.
During the past two years the Danish National Globalisation funds have offered funding for the establishment of joint degrees and parallel degrees. Should you have ideas on the development of joint degrees, please feel free to contact the partner management unit at Aarhus University.
Aarhus University is FAFSA approved so that US students may postpone the reimbursement of their study loans while studying at AU.
