What’s my user name?
- Your user name is your e-mail address.
- The e-mail address you use in PURE is the e-mail address used to register your details in the Aarhus University Directory. You can look it up by searching for your name via the search function on the web page:http://www.au.dk/index.php?id=271144&type=8001&L=1 www.au.dk/en/staffdir.htm
- You must enter the whole e-mail address when you log onto PURE (i.e. the parts that come both before and after @).

- You must use your password from the Aarhus University Self-service.
- If you do not have a password for the university’s Self-service, you can order one - see how.

My password works in Self-service, but not in PURE – what’s wrong?
- This situation most often arises if PURE has not been synchronised with the Self-service system after you ordered the password. This can possibly be because you ordered your password just before the weekend. We recommend that you wait 24 hours and then try again. If it still does not work, send an e-mail to the PURE support team at: pure@au.dk.
