Examples of the strategy in practice

Aarhus University’s internationalisation strategy 2009-2013
Aarhus University's new internationalisation strategy sets goals for the international activities of the university through 2013 and identifies the main objectives which these activities are intended to further. International involvement will be anchored in the activities of the university's nine main academic areas, while the university’s common administrative system will play a coordinating role, guaranteeing the effectiveness and visibility of concrete initiatives as well as the optimal utilization of resources. Ultimately, the university’s goal is to create the best possible environment for welcoming international students and guest researchers and for helping to make them – and in many instances their families – an integrated part of the community.
