Admission for PhD students taking Master courses

AU PhD students
AU PhD students can be admitted into Master courses without participation and tuition fee provided that they can insert the course into their PhD programme at AU.

In order to be admitted you have to document:
- the relevance of your course application related to your PhD programme (pre-approval)

PhD students from other Danish universities
PhD students from other Danish universities can be admitted into most Master courses without participation and tuition fee provided that they can insert the course into their PhD programme. Conditions and prices are regulated according to the description and agreement for open courses between all Danish universities.

In order to be admitted you have to document:
- your PhD relation to your home university (educational background)
- the relevance of your course application related to your PhD programme (pre-approval)

International PhD students
International PhD students can be admitted into most Master courses but they will have to pay participation fee + tuition fee (non-EU/EEA citizens).
If AU has signed an exchange or bilateral agreement on the PhD level with your home university, you might be exempted from participation and tuition fee.

In order to be admitted you have to document:
- your PhD relation to your home university (educational background)
- copy of your pass-port
