Exchange students

Students applying for AU Summer University courses through a bilateral exchange agreement must apply by using the online form on this website. Along with your application you must hand in the required documentation.

Requirements:

1. You must be enrolled in a university programme at the time of the AU Summer University
2. You can get the course(s) transferred into your study programme at your home university
3. If you are applying for admission to AU Summer University courses at Master level, you must hold a Bachelor's degree (Or as a minimum 180 ECTS in your study programme)
4. If you want to take the course and do not want to transfer the course into your study programme you must pay participation fee and tuition fee (all non-EU/EEA citizens). Find more information here. In that case you will be a free-mover student.

In order to be admitted you have to upload the following documents:

• a copy of your passport
• a transcript showing the courses of your current studies and your Bachelor's degree diploma (If you are a Master student)
• a nomination from your institutional coordinator at your home university stating that you can insert the credits into your current study programme at your home university, and that your English level is sufficient in order to follow the courses

Please notice that we need to have all the required documents before 15 March in order to process your application. Around 15 April you will receive information on whether or not you have been accepted.
