Practical Information

Arrival
We expect international guest students to pick up keys for housing and participate in introduction day taking place at the International Centre.

Arrival and key pick up takes place at:

3rd July - 12noon-6pm (for courses beginning on 4th July)

17th July - 12noon-6pm (for courses beginning on 18th and 20th July)  

23rd July - 12noon-6pm (for courses beginning on 24th and 25th July)

28th July - 12noon-6pm (for courses beginning on 31st July, 1st, 2nd August)

4th August - 12noon-6pm (for courses beginning on 7th August) 


If you arrive outside these hours please send us an email summeruniversity@au.dk and we will make sure, that you get your keys and welcome kit.

Guided tours on campus take place continuously though out the day.

Courses taking place outside Aarhus have seperate introduction days.

Location
AU Summer University will take place on campus in the architecturally renowned yellow-brick buildings in the beautiful university park and in the red NobelPark buildings.

At the venue you will have access to a helpdesk and service centre which will be open from 8.30-14.00 from Monday to Friday. You can find our main Help Desk in the International Centre and the opening hours are 14.00-15.30 from Monday to Friday.

The International Centre is the central hub for all international activities at Aarhus University, and in the same building you will find Dale's Café. Here you can buy sandwiches, coffee, snacks, and beers. With its informal lounge area this is the ideal place to relax and hang out with your fellow Summer University students.

Opening hours in Dale's Café are:

Monday - Thursday: 8.45 - 16
Friday: 8.45 - 19
