Potential merger with the Engineering College
Aarhus University and the Engineering College of Aarhus have been given the green light by a majority in the Danish Folketing to start negotiations for a merger.

“We’re extremely satisfied that the government and the other parties behind the agreement have listened to the joint wish for a merger expressed by both the Engineering College and Aarhus University. I am convinced that this merger will strengthen the engineering degree programmes and the science of engineering in Denmark”, says university rector Lauritz B. Holm-Nielsen.
