Denmark is the least corrupted country in the world.

According to the Corruption Perceptions Index, Denmark is ranked the least corrupted country from the 175 investigated territories.

The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries based on the perceived level of public sector corruption, on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean). Denmark is positioned on the top of the classification, with the highest score of 92, followed by New Zealand (91), Finland (89), Sweden (87) and Norway (86).

The Corruption Perception Index has been published annually since 2000 by the independent organisation Transparency International. It is the third year in a row that Denmark ranks as No. 1.
