Academic assistant for the development of the Webstrates software platform 940508

The Department of Digital Design and Information Studies is looking for an academic assistant to lead the everyday development of the Webstrates research software platform and partake in the scientific work of the Shareable Dynamic Media group. 
 
The place of work will be Helsingforsgade 14, 8200 Aarhus N
 
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in computer science or related fields; as well as having experience of web development, distributed computing, collaborative systems and technologies such as JavaScript, NodeJS, Git, WebRTC, and Operational Transformation-based technologies such as ShareDB.

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week). 
 
The contract is for one and a half years starting on 1 January 2018 and ending on 30 June 2019.

The Faculty of Arts is one of four main academic areas at Aarhus University. The faculty contributes to Aarhus University’s research, talent development, knowledge-exchange activities and degree programmes.
