Enrolment process for Partner Universities

Enrolment process for Partner Universities

  1. Before the closing deadline 15 March 2015 partner universities must send a email to dfs@au.dk containing a list of students who will be on tuition waiver basis and those who will be free movers.

  2. All students must apply online no matter whether they apply as free movers or on a tuition waived basis.

  3. Some students might apply on the Aarhus University (AU) online application system and forget to submit their application to your university. However, once we have received a student list from you, we will compare the list against the online applicants from your university and tell you if there are any students whose name appears on your system but not our nomination list.

  4. All tuition waived students from partner universities must hand in the following documentation:
    • a copy of their passport
    • a transcript showing the courses of their current studies and their Bachelor's degree diploma (If they are a Master's student)
    • a nomination from their institutional coordinator at their home university stating that they can insert the credits into their current study programme at their home university, and that their English level is sufficient in order to follow the courses

  5. Freemovers from Partner Universities must hand in documentation as follows:
    • a transcript showing the courses of their current or previous studies and their Bachelor's degree diploma (If they apply for a course at Master's level)
    • a copy of their secondary education/high school diploma
    • an English test as they are expected to have a high level of English proficiency
    • a copy of their passport

  6. AU accepts the tuition waived students and freemovers nominated by your university based on their qualifications. Once AU has made its selection of exchange students and freemovers, we will issue offer letters to the students and send them directly to the students. You will be CC'ed in the email.

  7. AU will bill freemovers directly for the programme fee and all students for housing payment (as stated on programme website).
