Applied Crop Physiology
ECTS: 5. Niveau: Kandidat. Dato: 19.-23. august (Written exam should be handed in online or per mail 3 weeks after the course). Sted: Årslev.
There are numerous methods to measure plant reaction to the surrounding climate. The objective of the course is to combine theory and hands on training using state of art equipment for measuring photosynthesis, stress and plant growth. This allows students to obtain skills in how to perform and plan plant experiments in the field or in greenhouse and what kind of pitfalls and challenges that one might experience. Kursus udbudt af Institut for Fødevarer. Dealing with Environmental and Human Health Risk
ECTS: 5. Niveau: Kandidat. Dato: 5.-23. august (Written exam should be handed in per mail 2 weeks after the course). Sted: Aarhus.
Dealing with risk is an important issue that, basically, affects nearly all working conditions, where technical and scientific knowledge is applied. A risk perspective that shows how different scientific disciplines can interact and contribute to assess and manage risk will, therefore, boost the capacity for many students to meet the demands in a professional position. This course offers an opportunity for the student to apply knowledge and learn how to deal with risk problems in the area of environmental and human health safety.
