I am a medical doctor and PhD student at the Research Unit for General Practice, Aarhus University. My research focuses on how evidence-based opportunities for quality improvement, prevention, and improved care can be recognised and translated into feasible solutions in everyday general practice.
My PhD work centres on familial hypercholesterolaemia, using register-based epidemiology, clinical audit, qualitative research, and implementation science.
I also have a strong interest in the diagnostic process, including how clinical reasoning, uncertainty, cognitive bias, and everyday contextual pressures shape diagnostic decision-making.
I am engaged in developing and teaching family medicine at the medical programme at Aarhus University, with a particular interest in strengthening students’ understanding of clinical reasoning.
