As a teaching dentist in the dental hygienist and clinical dental technician education, I particularly focus on ensuring an inclusive learning environment based on a constructive and professional dialogue with the students. It is important for me to meet the students in a recognizing and respectful manner, where there should be room for mistakes in order to promote a safe and developing learning environment.
I graduated as a dentist in 2006 and also work as a dentist in a private practice.
My primary area of work is clinical teaching of dental hygienist and clinical dental technician students. This includes preclinical exercises and patient treatment, evaluation interviews with students, and the preparation of teaching materials.
In addition, I have theoretical teaching in both programs.
I plan and coordinate the teaching in the 2nd semester of the clinical dental technician education and am responsible for the course "Clinical Dental Technology and Internal Practice II."
I am also an examiner for written and oral exams and assess quota 2 applications for the clinical dental technician education.
