As postdoc at the Department of Forensic Medicine, I work primarily with chemical analysis of forensic traces; especially with advanced mass spectrometry imaging of fingerprints. I have a Ph.D. from 2006 and educated as chemist with a minor in mathematics from Aarhus University in 2003. I have previously worked with molecular imaging within nuclear medicine at Aarhus University Hospital.
My primary work is development of new methods for chemical analysis of forensic traces with a special focus on fingerprints; a work that is carried out in close collaboration with the Danish police. I also contribute to other tasks at the department within synthetic and analytical chemistry.
