As a PhD I work with statistical genetics at The National Centre for Register-Based Research. Currently my work focuses on polgenic risk scores and diagnostic heterogeneity. I have a bachelor in biology and a master in bionformatics.
I conduct statistical genetics research on the Danish registers with focus on method development and understanding genetic architecture. In my PhD "The Impact of Diagnostic Heterogeneity and Individual Environment on the Genetics of Health Outcomes" I will hopefully contribute to the understanding of mechanisms that underlie the development of complex diseases and with that work towards better personalised medicine.
My sole focus is my PhD, however, I am involved in different collaborations, mostly producing polygenic risk scores for other researchers.
