Profile

I'm currently an Asst. Prof. in ECE, AU. I was a Research Assoc. Prof. in USTC from 2021 to 2023. Before that, I was a PostDoc at CS, Univ. of Helsinki, where I got my PhD in 2020 mainly funded by EU Marie Curie ITN. My research interests focus on building Trustworthy AI-XR systems, especially regarding efficiency, privacy, and fairness. I have publications as the corresponding author on Ubicomp, ICPP, WWW, WSDM, RecSys, ECCV, MM, PIEEE, etc., and served as TPC for AAAI, IJCAI, MM, ISMAR, etc. I have an open position for a PhD student on multimodal learning, drop me an email if you are interested in working with me.

Research

I focus on building trustworthy extended reality (XR) backed by advanced AI algorithms, to guarantee the efficiency, fairness, and privacy of XR systems.
