I am an instructor in Tooth Morphology and a clinical teacher at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health. I graduated as a dental hygienist in 1994 from Aarhus University. Afterwards, I worked as a dental hygienist in private dental practices in both Denmark and Sweden. Since 2002, I have been employed at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health, where I have taught dental assistants, clinical dental technicians, dentists, and dental hygiene students.
As an instructor in Tooth Morphology for dental hygiene students (1st-3rd semester) and clinical dental technicians (1st semester), I develop teaching materials and plan lessons and exams.
As the course coordinator for the "Preclinical Course," I coordinate clinical teaching in the 1st and partially in the 2nd semester of the dental hygiene program.
Clinical teaching includes preclinical courses, patient treatment, evaluation interviews, and preparation of teaching materials.
