Christian Vium is Associate Professor in Anthropology at Aarhus University (DK), where he directs the Multimodal Anthropology Lab and coordinates the Multimodal Anthropology MSc-track.
He is PI on the research projects ‘North Atlantic Everyday Stories’ (Velux Foundations) and ‘Tales of a Nomadic City’ (Wenner-Gren). His monograph ‘Revisited’, will be published in 2024 by SPECTOR books.
In 2023-24, he is an Associated Research Fellow at the Film Studies Center, Harvard University (US) and part of the CPH:LAB. He is nominated for the 2024 Leica Oscar Barnack Award.
