I am a molecular and computational biologist with a particular focus on vascular biology.
My research interests focus on the mechanisms of atherosclerosis development and the role of smooth muscle cell plasticity in this process. I use microscopy, as well as in vitro, in vivo, and bioinformatics approaches to address key questions in this field.
I participate in teaching a PhD course at Aarhus University, delivering lectures and leading workshops on basic and advanced single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis.
My job responsibilities lie within the research pipeline: formulating research questions, planning and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and disseminating knowledge.
