I am a senior clinical instructor in dentistry at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health. I graduated as a dentist from Copenhagen, was previously a clinic owner, and Ialso work in private practice. Additionally, I have experience as a clinical instructor in the surgical department and hold an M.Sc. in Periodontology from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
I have a strong interest in disease occurrence, diagnostics, treatment, and prognosis related to periodontal disease. I teach and supervise dental students in both theoretical and practical aspects of the profession, while also providing specialized dental treatments to patients at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health.
My primary responsibility is as the senior clinical instructor in periodontology, where I also manage exams at the graduate clinic and contribute to both written and oral exams at the bachelor’s and master’s levels in dentistry.
I play an active role in the development of the curriculum, both in preclinical and clinical settings, as well as in treatment planning. My role also involves mentoring and supporting students in their academic and practical development, with a focus on creating an inspiring learning environment. I work closely with my colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching.
