Kaj Sparle Christensen is a professor of Family Medicine at the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, and a general practitioner in Aarhus. He received his PhD in medicine in 2004. He has been a senior researcher at the Research Unit for General Practice since then. His research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in general practice, e.g. depression, anxiety and stress. He has co-authored clinical guidelines for managing mental disorders in general practice.
Kaj Sparle Christensen conducts research in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in general practice, particularly depression, anxiety and stress. He has helped evaluate several psychometric tools in Danish and has studied the effect of problem-solving dialogue in general practice.
