I'm a medical doctor and PhD student researching lung cancer. In this national project I study how blood tests (ctDNA) can help track and guide treatment in patients with advanced ALK-positive lung cancer. Additionally, I work in the clinic, treating and caring for people with lung cancer.
I am conducting research on lung cancer with a particular focus on ALK-positive NSCLC and ctDNA. Using liquid biopsies, I aim to improve monitoring and identify treatment resistance. My research aims to provide a deeper molecular understanding of ALK and, hopefully, help optimize treatment trajectories in a more personalized way.
My primary research focus is ALK-positive lung cancer, particularly ctDNA and blood-based biomarkers. I study markers associated with treatment outcomes and explore molecular resistance mechanisms. Additionally, I contribute to research on other oncogene targets and biomarkers in lung cancer.
