I completed a bachelor's degree in PPE (politics, philosophy, and economics) before obtaining a master's in philosophy from KCL. I'm now a PhD student (4+4) at Aarhus. I'm also the web editor for the British Society of Aesthetics.
My PhD project aims to develop a critical theory of social cohesion.
My research analyses conceptions of difference at play in theorising about social cohesion, and whether these obscure or reify socioeconomic differences and power relations, and their relation to identity differences.
I am therefore focussed on questions concerning cohesion, exclusion, identity, inequality, difference, and migration.
I am a member of the GLUE research project and the Aarhus Social Ontology Group.
