As a teacher on the dental hygienist programme, I emphasise a high level of professionalism in a safe and supportive learning environment.
I am a trained dental hygienist and have a master's degree in health anthropology. My previous experience includes working as a dental hygienist in municipal dental care with children and young people, social and care dentistry, planning preventive and health-promoting initiatives under municipal auspices and teaching.
My primary area of work at IOOS is teaching paedodontics as well as clinical teaching in child and adolescent dentistry for dental hygienist students.
I take part in the planning and coordination of the clinical teaching (internal internship, paedodontics) in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters of the dental hygienist education and am responsible for the course "Child and Adolescent Dentistry 1".
I supervise written assignments on the dental hygienist education, e.g. bachelor projects. I am an examiner for Health education project, bachelor's projects and paediatric dentistry.
