With 27 publications, including 24 in PubMed-indexed journals, I focus on evidence-based research in orthodontics. My work spans systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and academic communication, aiming to advance both clinical practice and research through innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
I am a PhD student at Aarhus University, with a background in orthodontics, and my research focuses on the application of Dental-dedicated Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ddMRI) in orthodontics. By combining advanced imaging techniques with clinical orthodontic practice, I aim to explore new ways to enhance treatment planning and outcomes, particularly in understanding tissue properties and their relationship to orthodontic interventions.
I hold a thorough Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Nepal, where I underwent an intensive education over five and a half years, providing me with a solid foundation in clinical practice. After completing my dental education, I pursued a specialization in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Deformities at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, gaining three years of valuable experience in both conventional and modern orthodontic techniques.
In addition to my research, I am committed to advancing the field by collaborating with colleagues and professionals in both the medical and dental communities to improve the clinical application of ddMRI in orthodontics.
Volunteering as the manager of the orthodontic blog for the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), I share insights on orthodontics and conduct workshops on evidence-based dentistry. My work focuses on evaluating systematic reviews and meta-analyses to ensure quality evidence in clinical decision-making. I also contribute to both international and national orthodontic societies, supporting the development of orthodontic practice and research.
