I am an associate professor at the Department of Management, Aarhus University. I am also an affiliate scholar at the Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research, which is an educational joint venture between Danish universities and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Prior to joining academia, I worked in various analytical positions in organizations such as AC Nielsen, Moscow office, and the Law Society of England and Wales at its headquarters in London.
My research interests include firm strategies in emerging markets, business-government relationships, MNCs interactions with host market institutions, cross-border M&As and divestments. My research has been published in such leading academic journals as Journal of International Business Studies, Multinational Business Review, Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Management and Organization Review. I am a recipient of a best paper award of International Management Division at the 2022 Academy of Management.
