I am a trained biomedical laboratory scientist from JCVU, Aarhus (2004-2007), and have been employed at AU since 2010. I have strong competencies in histology and immunohistochemistry on both animal models and human material. Since 2020, I have been affiliated with the Department of Clinical Medicine, Center for Molecular Morphology, Stereology & Microscopy at Aarhus University. I am committed to creating a greener, more sustainable and also safer environment in the lab, and has been in the Health and Safety Organisation since 2015.
As a biomedical laboratory scientist at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Center for Molecular Morphology, Stereology & Microscopy, I work with complex molecular biological techniques including in-situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry and spatial transcriptomics on various platforms. With my extensive experience in tissue handling, staining techniques and microscopy, I can provide guidance on the optimal use of laboratory facilities.
